Restless Legs Syndrome is a disorder which produces an involuntary urge to shift, move or flinch  one’s lower body. The uncomfortable situation often happens just as the person is going to rest their body often at night. People have occasionally detailed the painful sensations that occur in their legs as prickling, tickling, aching, and even painful jerking. Indications normal begin less extreme yet become stronger and stronger with a little bit of time. RLS most of the time only causes distress in the legs, however there are a few cases in other parts of the body.

The actual immediate causes of restless legs at night are unknown, however there are a some patterns and strategies used to determine the occurrences. That is when the uncomfortable aching progressing and becomes worse. Usually the person must get out of bed to walk around and get rid of it for the time being. Leg twitching at night is a frustrating difficulty that seriously intrudes on a restful night of sleep. There is temporary relief from the symptoms by moving around and stretching which offers very short term benefit. The problem is that the symptoms usually come back again as the patient is about to fall into the relaxing mood again. This can eventually lead to not being able to sleep at all at night.

It can be a hassle to get an exact diagnosis of restless legs syndrome because there are some many different factors that could be contributing to restless legs at night. The process can take long periods of time to figure out and involves a few examination trips to the doctor.It is usually deficiencies in body iron that is check first and then other checks that have to do with lifestyles. Sometimes there are immediate improvements of restless legs with the halting of activities like smoking or taking certain medications.

Treatment can consist of medications such as relaxants for the muscles and medication to aid in the sleeping process. There are also a few treatments using natural methods that have proven to be quite effective for some cases.Overall, Restless Legs Syndrome at night when it bothers sleep is a real problem. Patients who are affected by the symptoms need to pursue a treatment that works to start sleeping well and relaxed.
